While you may be wondering 'why would I want to drink a gross shake when I can have a delicious burger?' Well if you don't know, obesity is the lading cause for most health related disease such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, arterial disease, and many more issues that may stem from obesity. Burgers are only one example and not even the best example in terms of foods loaded with empty calories. Empty calories are calories within foods that have little or zero nutritional value and are simply expelled through the body or stored as fat.
